Terms of use.

These terms cover the Restore Drill website and Team Kit. The Restore Drill CLI source and binary remain licensed under the MIT License included in the repository.

Safe use

Restore Drill is a rehearsal tool, not a backup system or production restoration service. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups, testing your recovery plan, reviewing commands and configuration, and protecting credentials and signing keys. Do not modify its safety boundaries to target production.

Team Kit purchase

The Team Kit costs US $39 as a one-time purchase. It includes the workflow, scorecard, and checklist templates shown on the product page plus future revisions made available through this license flow. One license may be used by one organization across the environments it operates; it may not be resold or redistributed as a standalone template pack.

Merchant of record and refunds

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles payment, tax, receipts, and refunds. Follow the instructions on your receipt to request a refund. A refunded or charged-back purchase revokes its Team Kit license automatically; the open-source CLI remains available.

Availability and warranty

The site and Team Kit are provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent allowed by law, the authors are not liable for lost data, missed recovery objectives, business interruption, or indirect damages.

Changes

Material changes will be dated on this page. Terms in effect when you purchase continue to govern that purchase unless a change is required by law.
